The vans are neatly packed with three shows using Alex’s phenomenal Tetris skills and we are back on the road.
Sat 2 July, Tipping Point was having its outdoor premiere at Hat Fair Winchester. We managed to brave the showers and did the show in a little sunny interval. The silhouettes of the performers looked stunning against the evening sky.
Tina popped in to the ISAN (International Street Arts Network) breakfast at Winchester University the next day and met some great people followed by a catch up with Angus McKechnie enjoying the sunny Sunday.
Then we took Every Action and Arc to Teatro Astra as part of Teatro a Corte festival in Torino, Italy Sat 9 & Sun 10 July. It was our first time in Italy and we absolutely loved it! Tina was invited to visit the school Vertigo in Grugliasco and joined the jury for the international prize ‘checkpoint circus’.
Straight from Torino we revisited one of our favourite festivals in Holland
Deventer Op Stelten with Tower & Pole, Alex and Telma's duet from Not Until We Are Lost. We counted audiences of around 6000, an amazing experience.
And now for another first we are off to Teatro da Didascalia, Portugal for a performance of Tipping Point on 15 July www.teatrodadidascalia.com
