Ockham's Razor are looking for a young physical performer for our intergenerational show This Time. This Time uses circus, storytelling and original equipment to create visual theatre about family, age and the stories we tell ourselves.

We are looking for someone aged 9 -13 to replace an existing performer. You will ideally have training in aerial, acrobatics / gymnastics or dance and an interest in theatre. You will be performing alongside 3 adult performers - and the role involves aerial and acrobalance flying alongside some autobiographical storytelling. Performers should be prepared for experimentation and play.

All dates are for 2020.

Rehearsals will be in London and will take place :
Tuesday 17 -  Friday 20 March
Monday 23 – Friday 27 March
Monday 30 March

The first performances will be:
Thursday 2 & Friday 3 April – The Rose, Kingston
Monday 6 April – Thursday April – artsdepot, Finchley
Thursday 16 April – 10 April – Drill Hall, Lincoln
Wed 22nd April – Sat 25th April
Monday 8 June & 9 June – UHA - University of Hertfordshire
Friday 12 June – 14 June – Worthing Theatres
Tuesday 23 June – 26 June – Courtyard Hereford (TBC

The show will then probably continue to tour for periods during the Summer/Autumn of 2020 and Spring 2021.

Rehearsals will run for full days 10:30 – 4:30 you must be available for all rehearsal and touring dates. The role would suit someone who is home schooled or has an arrangement with their school where they are able to take time out. We will provide fees, accommodation and travel expenses for a chaperone and tutor.

The auditions will be held on 3 February with recalls on 4 February and will run 11am – 4pm at: The Creation Studio, The Energy Centre, Bowling Green Walk, London N1 6AL (this is part of the National Centre for Circus Arts but has its own entrance on Bowling Green Walk).

For the contract all fees will be paid in line with Equity/ITC rates.

Accommodation and travel while touring will be provided.
